Seton Gallery, University of Connecticut

Community Clean-Up Event: October 1

To Dissolve into the Hydrocommons, One Drop at a Time is a solo exhibition by the artist sTo Len. The show examines themes of environmental decay and the interconnectedness of global ecosystems by siting the waterways around the New Haven area as places of artistic exploration. Len’s interdisciplinary practice engages viewers to investigate their impact on the environment through printmaking, sound recordings, video, and photography as well as local action. In conjunction with the Citizen Opportunities for Accessing Science Training on the Sound (COASTS), Len’s exhibition will include a free public talk and community clean-up event at the Canal Dock Boathouse on the Long Wharf waterfront in New Haven on Saturday, October 1st. Volunteers will help pick up trash along the waterfront and curate objects with “art potential” for sTo Len to create prints from for the exhibition.

Len's exhibition is funded by grants from the International Association of New Haven and the Connecticut Sea Grant Arts Award Support Program
