i was born in danville,va. it was quiet. southern. i was into the band KISS. then we moved to the washington dc area. i went to high school here. i was into punk rock. and painting. then i lived in richmond, va for awhile. lots of good houses there. good bands too. i went to Virgina Commonwealth University for sculpture. it was fun. i learned a lot. then i lived in italy for 6 months. i went to the uffizi every week. and this squat C.P.A. i sculpted and dumpster dove and rode scooters. then i moved to Brooklyn on the eve of 2001. it was exciting. i lived in a kitchen on a couch. i started the art collective WAMP with some homies that same year. we put on many art shows in weird places around NY. they were very interactive. and crazy. then i started cinders gallery with kelie bowman in 2004. her house had just burned down. it was exciting. it still is.
